The Model IGAT-180 meets or exceeds safety requirements in the law of Florida. Its seat height is easily adjustable to accommodate various wheelchair. The 180 degree right-handed turn allows for greater access from the deck. The seat rotates forward when entering the pool, and backward when exiting the water. This model is a fixed installation, secured into deck with concrete and steel, but the lifting apparatus is easily removed. The are rest comes available in the standard seat model with optional flip-up outer arm. All components required for installation and operation are included in the price and requires installation. This unit is available with increased lifting capacity.
The Pool Lift Model IGAT-180 is a user- or attendant-operated, water powered unit which meets the pending ADA requirements for swimming pool lifts. It can lift a 400 lb. person at 55 PSI operating pressure (while lifting). The standard unit includes an adjustable height 19″ wide seat, automatic seat rotation, upper and lower controls easily reached from deck or pool, an adjustable footrest, and a built-in wheel for easy transport. The lift mounts in a single socket in the pool deck, and gains additional stability by contacting the deck and the pool wall. The patented rub block feature allows a smooth sliding motion that eliminates the danger of fingers being pinched in rollers. Structural components are 304 and 316 stainless steel.
Available options include a flip-up outer arm, adjustable headrest, seat belts for chest and lap, a vinyl-liner wall pad and a rescue board (which must be originally ordered with the lift). Addition of some accessories will increase pressure requirements. Custom modifications can be ordered including variations in vertical travel to accommodate various water levels and wheelchair heights, opposite or reduced seat rotation, and adaptations to accommodate in-ground spa with bench seats.
